President – Dallas Hearing Foundation
Dr. Peters has practiced pediatric and adult otology/ neurotology in Dallas for over 20 years. His background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas followed by his M.D. degree, residency in Otolaryngology, and fellowship in Neurotology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He is founder and president of the Dallas Hearing Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to giving the gift of hearing and speech to children and adults with hearing loss. In this capacity he has helped secure funding and performed cochlear implant surgery on patients from 12 different countries around the world. He is an associate clinical professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery, the American Neurotologic Society, the Triologic Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society. |

Dr. Yoav Hahn is a Board-Certified Otologist/Neurotologist and Otolaryngologist. He has completed specialized fellowship training in Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery. He attended the University of Chicago, medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and general surgery training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Hahn completed Otolaryngology residency at the University of California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. Following this, he served for two years as Assistant Clinical Professor at University of California-Davis and a staff Otolaryngologist for the Head and Neck Surgery Department at Kaiser Sacramento Medical Center. He then successfully completed his Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery fellowship training at the prestigious Michigan Ear Institute. |

Brian Rodgers grew up in Northeast Texas. He attended college at Texas A&M University-Commerce and graduated summa cum laude with degrees in biology and chemistry. He moved to Houston and obtained his doctorate of medicine with honors from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Rodgers completed residency training in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. He then received specialty training in otology, neurotology, and lateral skull base surgery at the Michigan Ear Institute near Detroit. |

Krysten Whaling is a board certified Physician Assistant providing comprehensive otologic and neurotologic care to Dallas Ear Institute patients. Krysten graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition. After completing her undergraduate studies she then received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University. Krysten worked in a family medicine practice prior to joining the Dallas Ear Institute. Otology and neurotology has always been her professional passion. |
