Executive Director
Andrea Gerlach, Au.D., serves as the Executive Director of the Dallas Ear Institute and has been a dedicated member of the team since 2012. In her current role, Dr. Gerlach leads strategic practice development efforts aimed at sustaining the Institute’s reputation as a regional leader in otologic and audiologic care. She is also responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all clinical teams.
Dr. Gerlach played a pivotal role in establishing The Hearing Center, where she took great pride in providing personalized care to each patient—addressing their unique communication challenges and helping them find the hearing solutions best suited to their lifestyle. While she no longer sees patients directly due to the practice’s growth, she continues to collaborate closely with the Institute’s surgeons and audiologists to support the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care.
Before joining the Dallas Ear Institute, Dr. Gerlach held several positions with a major hearing aid manufacturer and worked as a clinical audiologist at both Professional Hearing Services in St. Joseph, MI, and the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Central Michigan University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Nebraska. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology.
Dr. Gerlach lives in Coppell, Texas, with her husband, Matt, and their two children.
